Ask the ordinary man on the street who has little interest in the world outside his own little bubble to name the greatest living scientist today and the answer you get will most probably be something along the lines of the disabled guy in the wheelchair who speaks funny and who was on The Big Bang Theory.
Stephen Hawking is so prominent due to the combination of a very nasty disease and a very smart brain. But this has been spun off into one hell of a career across multiple platforms. The guy hasn’t just trademarked his own name; he has copyrighted his voice, which I suppose is bad luck for anyone else in the future with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis who needs to talk with their cheek muscle.
So it was with some degree of incredulity that I read a comment here on the blog declaring that Hawking is a fake:
That photo of “Hawking” in the article.
You do know that the real Hawking died many years ago and the “cripple” in the wheelchair is just an Actor, an imposter ?
The real fucker died decades ago…..no one with ALS lives longer than a few years.
“Hawking” is just a spambot ventriloquist dummy used by TPTB to hawk their various brands of Global poison. ( Global Warming etc.)
I can’t believe that the sheep gobble up the pathetic “Scientific” sermons that this fake “Physicist” generates by using a cheek muscle to generate his speeches ! Really ? A cheek muscle ?
I break into hysterical laughter whenever he is wheeled out and he pops up in the media.
I’ve had some truly crazy comments on the blog but this one is up there at the epic level. I approved the comment as I am not one to banish the strange and the deluded to the memory hole, and I replied with some acknowledgement of my general amazement at this absurd accusation, and then I let it go at that.
But I didn’t let it go at all. The idea sat there over the weekend. It festered. And I began to do that thing which is most dangerous to a writer. I began to ponder.
The mental block for me is the very idea that Hawking could be an imposter, but then I remembered the quote from a certain former German politician that goes along the lines of the public will most easily believe a very big lie over a small one.
The next step was to do some digging.
For Hawking to be a fake there has to be an underlying motive. Today when we think of science we don’t associate it with cool ideas like rockets to the moon. The inevitable association is global warming and climate change. As always when considering a scam or a fraud, the very first rule is to follow the money. The biggest scam in scientific history, perhaps even the history of the human race, is the global warming fraud. So my very first stopping point for uncovering whether or not Hawking is a fraud is that he has to be on board with the mother of all scams.
So I typed Hawking’s name into a search engine and I added global warming for good measure. The first hit that I got was a piece from a site called EcoWatch which was titled, Stephen Hawking: One Thing Threatens Us More Than Donald Trump … Climate Change.
Astrophysicist Stephen Hawking has often been consulted in matters unrelated to space and many consider him among the most intelligent individuals to have lived. Which is why during an interview on Tuesday, Hawking’s assertion that there was something more dire facing America and the world than Donald Trump, people sat up and took notice.
That is the lead-off to the article and it sets the tone for this possible fraud. The writer states two points which are presented as irrevocable truth:
- Hawking not only deals with science but with many unrelated matters. In other words he knows lots of stuff about almost everything.
- He is apparently considered by many to be one of the most intelligent human beings ever. Just who these many people are or their justification for this statement are not revealed.
What is revealed is a pattern; a pattern whereby a claim is made and Hawking’s name is tacked on in order to give it credibility. In this way Hawking is able to make even the most bizarre pronouncements without any form of criticism. His word is taken as Gospel. From the same article:
“A rise in ocean temperature would melt the ice-caps and cause a release of large amounts of carbon dioxide from the ocean floor. Both effects could make our climate like that of Venus, with a temperature of 250 degrees.”
250 degrees? The only way you can make this sort of absurd claim is if you’re a drooling disabled guy in a wheelchair who is acknowledged as the smartest dude on the planet.
How about this piece from only three days ago in The Guardian of all places titled, Exxon, Stephen Hawking, greens, and Reagan’s advisors agree on a carbon tax.
The opening paragraph uses Hawking to help set the tone via his impeccable scientific and epic brainpower credentials:
What do ExxonMobil, Stephen Hawking, the Nature Conservancy, and Ronald Reagan’s Secretary of Treasury and Chief of Staff have in common? All have signed on as founding members to the Climate Leadership Council, which has met with the White House to propose a revenue-neutral carbon tax policy.
What follows is the usual propaganda posing as fact with which we are all too familiar. When it comes time to wrap up the piece who do we see mentioned again?
If ExxonMobil, Stephen Hawking, the Nature Conservancy, James Baker, and George Shultz can all agree on a policy solution to help stop climate change, maybe there’s still hope.
I read example after example from pieces going back decades or more that all follow the same pattern: make a broad scientific claim and tack on the weird dude in the funny wheelchair as evidence that it isn’t bogus.
Okay, so he’s a massive proponent of global warming but does he believe in the so-called scientific consensus? This is crucial because consensus is not science; it is politics. The last scientist who was viewed as the greatest scientist in the world was scathing of the very idea of a consensus. Einstein responded to a letter that had been signed by over a hundred prominent scientists of the day which called into question his new and startling discoveries by calmly inquiring as to why they had needed so many signatories – if they were correct then it would only have needed one to do it.
So is Hawking a proponent of science by consensus? According to Time Magazine he is:
The Paris agreement was reached by 195 countries last year at the United Nations Climate Change Conference. President Obama was a proponent of the agreement, which facilitates global coordination on combating climate change. Trump has said in the past that he would “cancel” the Paris deal.
Among the 375 scientists signing the letter released Tuesday was noted physicist Stephen Hawking, along with 30 nobel laureates and Steven Chu, former Secretary of Energy under Obama.
The group also issued a broadside to politicians who deny the overwhelming scientific consensus that the planet is warming and that human activity is responsible. “During the Presidential primary campaign, claims were made that the Earth is not warming, or that warming is due to purely natural causes outside of human control,” they said. “Such claims are inconsistent with reality.”
There we go with Hawking being named right at the beginning. Nobel prize winners just get tacked on later. If you want real credibility then it has to be the guy who was on The Simpsons.
Hawking isn’t just big on science by consensus with regards to global warming. He’s all for it when it comes to how the universe began as well.
Stephen Hawking and 32 of his fellow scientists have written an angry letter responding to a recent Scientific American article about how the universe began.
I won’t give any more examples of this nature for the simple fact that there are far too many of them. Just go onto any search engine and find out for yourself.
Okay, so he’s a willing and active participant in the biggest fraud in human history as well as a great believer in science by consensus. So what other globalist lies is he a party to. From Hawking’s infogalactic entry:
In March 1968, Hawking marched alongside Tariq Ali and Vanessa Redgrave to protest against the Vietnam War. He is a longstanding Labour Party supporter. He recorded a tribute for the 2000 Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore, called the 2003 invasion of Iraq a “war crime“, was part of an academic boycott of a conference in Israel because of concerns about Israel’s policies towards Palestinians, campaigned for nuclear disarmament, and has supported stem cell research, universal health care, and action to prevent climate change. In August 2014, Hawking was one of 200 signatories to a letter opposing Scottish independence in the run-up to September’s referendum on that issue. Hawking believes a United Kingdom withdrawal from the European Union (Brexit) would damage the UK’s contribution to science as modern research needs international collaboration. He believes free movement of people in Europe encourages the spread of ideas. Hawking also opposes Donald Trump.
Boycotting Israel? Hating on Donald Trump? Recording a tribute for Al fucking Gore?? I wonder where he stands on religion? After all, he is the world’s smartest guy ever and the homoglobal elite sure like putting down our Christian roots whenever they can.
Of course he did.
Hawking is 75 years old and has been living with ALS since 1963. Doctors gave him two years to live and yet fifty years later he’s still with us. While I am in general greatly disparaging of doctors, it is rather extraordinary that the guy is not only still going strong but jet-setting around the world to collect honors here, awards there, and record TV programs whenever he can find the time. This isn’t a guy clinging to life with a terrible disease. This is someone who finds the time to endorse products as diverse as British Telecom and Specsavers.
It will come as no surprise that he is the world’s most prominent proponent of disability rights. That may sound like a noble cause but the National Disability Insurance Scheme has the potential to bankrupt Australia in the near future. Just why someone should be afforded rights because they have a disease is beyond me, because inevitably with the rights comes the taxpayer’s money.
The real low point of this exercise for me was when I typed ‘is Stephen Hawking a fake?’ into Google and let it rip. If there is one thing I hate more than conspiracies it is conspiracy websites. Nothing screams fake news more than mouth breathers bashing away at their computers while arguing for the umpteenth time that Marilyn Monroe killed JFK. I even found one guy who reckons that Jimi Hendrix is alive and a CIA spy.
And yet, and yet. Is Stephen Hawking an imposter played by an actor? It turns out that it’s not such a ludicrous idea. The money motive is there – sell the gullible public the latest scientific scaremongering, and the AGW scam is the biggest scaremongering of all with trillions of dollars on the line. The most likely time when he died was in 1985 when he contracted pneumonia and was almost taken off life support but ended up instead having a tracheotomy. Having the lost the ability to communicate, less than a year later he received a revolutionary new computer program and was now able to communicate even better than before. How fortuitous.
So do I believe that Hawking died and was replaced by an actor in order to sell whatever science scam that governments and big business wanted to push?
I don’t know, and that I suppose is extraordinary in itself.
