Friday hawt chicks & links – The denial edition.

Another Friday another hawt chicks & links to brighten up your springboard into the weekend. That’s what I’m here for, that’s why I get paid the big bucks. I scour the internets to unearth specimens like these:

Dick’s Sporting Goods Has a Fever, and the Only Cure is Getting Woker and Going Broker.

Apparently this sporting goods chain had decided that Trump voters were low-lifes, and since Trump voters overwhelmingly purchase guns as opposed to pansy lefties then the natural thing to do would be to discontinue the gun sales. That’ll show you nasty Trump voters!

The Wall Street Journal notes that Dick’s is “bucking” a national trend of retailers making gains in this booming, enyugening Trump-fueled economy, by losing 4% year-to-year among comparable stores.

Or maybe not …

Ace also had this to say:

Surrendering our male spaces.

Dalrock writes about the story of a young woman who is supposedly conquering the male domain of American football.

As Dalrock observes, she is keen to present herself as just ‘one of the boys’ even though she is most decidedly not one of the boys at all. He is also clear in his assessment that the end goal is to make sure that football can no longer be seen as a way for boys to prove that they are men.

Good whites versus bad whites.

Whenever I write an article on race I’ll always get someone who will respond with a comment like this one:

What if the migrant is more K selective, more embracing of free market and free speech, and more conscientious than locals?

That comment was left on Facebook by someone with the surname of Li. It seems that some of the interlopers, or at least those who possess half a brain and a modicum of situational awareness, are looking around at Australia’s out of control diversity with a growing sense of unease. As well they should. Implicit in this objection is the argument that the invader is of a better quality than the original inhabitant, thereby rendering the takeover and subversion of the original nation and its people acceptable due to the superiority of the incoming replacements.

It is of course an entirely racist viewpoint, but the prevailing wisdom of the last 50 years has been the lie that only white people are capable of being racist. The left have based their entire existence on this deceit, and as The Z Man points out it was the great sin of conservatives to abandon the acceptance of the human condition for one that attempted to do away with the hierarchical and tribal reality of humans.

The science that cried wolf.

An article today in The Australian concerning the imminent demise of the Great Barrier Reef and the exhortation that something must be done is interesting not for its bloated and deceitful content but for the comments that follow it. The writer, Ove Hoegh-Guldberg, is the director of something called The Global Change Institute at the university of Queensland.

The Global Change Institute (GCI) at The University of Queensland is an independent source of innovative research, ideas, policy and advice for addressing the challenges of a changing world.

In other words, do-gooders who managed to wrangle themselves sweet funding under the guise of ‘the end of the world is nigh!’ (Notice how you don’t see those crazy guys holding placards outside dusty train stations anymore? They’re all employed in the climate scam industry.)

There is no such thing as a Greek-Australian.

A couple of weeks ago my article on Senator Anning’s maiden speech to parliament was cross-posted over at XYZ magazine. In response to the Senator’s statement for a popular vote on the matter of immigration, I had this to say:

We are also in complete support of the Senator’s proposal for a popular vote on the matter, as long as voting is restricted to those born in Australia to white Anglo-Saxon parentage going back at least three generations.

To my great pleasure someone left the following comment:

Huh? Three generations? Anglo-Saxon?? Strictly speaking, Anglo-Saxons refers to only people from Britain, so Scottish and Irish don’t count. You know your proposal would exclude a lot of Europeans and their descendants who migrated post WW2? A lot of Greeks, Dutch, Italians, Polish, Irish, Scottish and more recent arrivals from Serbia, Croatia, the Balkans, Eastern Europe would be caught by your rule. And what of the Jews eh? I’ve met and made friends with plenty of young patriotic Aussies of various non-Anglo-Saxon European extracts and are only second generation as their parents migrated in the least 20 to 40 years. Also what of people of mixed Anglo-Saxon and something else heritage? Will they be excluded from voting?

I love this comment as it neatly sums up all that is inherently wrong with our “great” multicultural experiment in Australia, an experiment upon which the Australian people were never consulted.
