Friday hawt chicks & links – The slippery slope edition.

As I write this week’s edition of the hawt chicks & links thread I am listening to the wonderful melodic harmonies of The Alan Parson’s Project’s first album, Tales of mystery and Imagination, and on my vintage Bang & Olufsen turntable at that. The album is based on the short stories of Edgar Allen Poe, a man who knew a thing or two about horror and the macabre. And it is somewhat fitting as we appear to be living through such an age now, where the diseased, the demented, and the deranged openly inhabit our most cherished institutions. Ungodliness is celebrated, while faith and piety are persecuted under the chants of eradicating hate, the byword for all that is actually good and worthy of being cherished in the world.

But we live at a time where everything is set purposely backward, so as to better confuse and confound those who are susceptible to falling from grace. So let us peel back a very few pages of the torments that surround us, and peer beneath the horrible film of decadence that threatens to overwhelm us. But have faith and take heart; there are some who still stand resolutely in the face of evil. Which is the very best that each of us can aspire to.

A warning from an anonymous Christian hermit.

Above all, we priests must be men of truth.

In the modern world, truth is the enemy of the people. The modern world deals in lies. Here at my humble little blog, the only thing that matters is the pursuit of truth.

For far too long, for well over 60 years if not more, the Church appears to have been taken over by a Marxist agenda, which has zapped it of the supernatural and reduced it to something akin to the United Nations which is well known for its corruption. The Bride of Christ has been turned into something between a Soviet Commissar and the harlot mentioned by Ezekiel and Jeremiah.

He is generous to use the verb appear. Read the whole thing and be uplifted.

Democrats now openly consorting with Satan.

From the same people who brought you “I fucking love science”:

Witches plan to place a public hex on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh through an occult ritual on Oct. 20 in New York City, an event sponsored by Catland Books, which describes itself as “Brooklyn’s premiere occult bookshop & spiritual community space.” The planned ritual has been advertised on Facebook.
“Please join us for a public hex on Brett Kavanaugh, upon all rapists and the patriarchy at large which emboldens, rewards and protects them,” reads the description for the event, “Ritual to Hex Brett Kavanaugh.”

I say bring back the burnings.

Magic as self-care after Kavanaugh.

First, take a candle.

Then, pour some salt into your hand.

Then, keeping the grains in your palm, take a pen to write out a thank you to Christine Blasey Ford, the woman whose allegations of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee — and now justice — Brett Kavanaugh, stunned a nation.

Or, if you prefer, simply say, “I believe you.”

It’s just one of the many quasi-religious rituals circulating the internet — particularly pagan and #resistance circles — in the wake of Kavanaugh’s confirmation. These rituals help self-identified witches process trauma, anger, and grief.

These people are serious. It’s not that far a step from here to performing child sacrifice. Oh wait, they already do that. It’s called abortion. And abortion is the true modern salutation to the devil. (Don’t forget that the Gosnell movie finally opened this week.) It’s so important that women must be physically assaulted by “male feminists” in order to protect them. We hurt you to help you, said every socialist that ever putrefied the face of the earth.

That previous video is an example of the old slippery slope, folks. The left derided the slippery slope warning as a falsehood. Which instantly tells you that it is anything but. Here’s another example of the slippery slope in action:

Normalizing organ harvesting as a form of Euthanasia.

More and more “doctors” are openly advocating harvesting organs from still living donors as a form of euthanasia. This penchant for a medical version of Aztec cosplay is seen both in Europe and in North America. Yet another call for death by donation has crept up, this time in the New England Journal of Medicine.

“Canadians Ian Ball and Robert Sibbald from Western University, along with Robert Truog from Harvard, recently published an article in the New England Journal of Medicine calling for organ donation from euthanasia victims.

“They went so far as suggesting pulling the organs from the still-alive ‘donor’ such that removing the organs would cause the donor’s euthanasia itself. The fresher the better. The transplant surgeons thus become both the one who sustaines life for one, and the dealer of death for the other. All it takes, according to the authors, is a few simple tweaks to legislation…”

All your organs belong to us. The Aztecs would have been proud. No slippery slope to see here, folks. Move along, move along.

Priest who burned gay flag removed from parish, now in hiding.

Father Paul Kalchik is no longer the acting pastor of Resurrection Parish following the controversial decision to burn a rainbow flag last week. According to witnesses at the parish, Cardinal Cupich sent two priests, Fr. Dennis Lyle and Fr. Jeremy Thomas, from the Vicar for Priests Office to the church right before 6 p.m. mass on Saturday asking to meet with Fr. Kalchik in private. Fr. Kalchik refused and asked for witnesses to the exchange. What was reported to have happened after that is chilling.

According to sources at the parish as reported by Church Militant, “Lyle and Thomas made clear they were there on order of Cdl. Cupich, who insisted that Kalchik be sent to St. Luke Institute for his ‘psychiatric issues.’ Both vicars for priests had also only days before threatened that Kalchik could have his faculties removed if he failed to comply with Cupich’s orders.” Those threats led to the revoking of a transfer that would have allowed Fr. Kalchik to be close to his aging parents.

Two witnesses, Miriam and Wayne Smith, said that when Fr. Kalchik refused to go with them, the priests became threatening and at one point the cardinal’s men referenced Fr. Kalchik dying. “Fr. Kalchik told those two enforcers that he had Mass to celebrate in the morning and that he was needed in the parish,” the Smiths said. “The response from the two was to ask him, ‘What would happen if you were dead?’

The Church will protect pedophile priests and homosexuals for decades, but burn a flag of the fags and the gay mafia will be at your door more swiftly than a rush on discount lube sales.

(Incidentally, I had a little argument with a supposed conservative in the comments section of that piece who is “vocally for marriage equality.” I said that he was part of the problem and his response was this:

No, I’m a conservative, who makes the conservative argument, that—quite rightly—- neither the government, nor anybody else , has any business in any consenting adults bedroom or relationships.

Its literally none of the governments business whom consenting adults sleep with, date or marry.

And to be frank, its literally none of your business whom a consenting adult, sleeps with, dates or marries either.

Claiming the authority to run everybody else’s lives are what the Left does.

Methinks he is confused as to where his allegiances lie. He is not a conservative, he is a libertarian, and libertarians are the agnostics of the political landscape. Like agnostics they are also the most stupid.

INTERLUDE: Well, the Alan Parson’s album is finished, (which gives you an idea how long it takes to compose the Friday hawt chicks & links), so now it’s time for some Sade.

The weird and dangerous world of queer feminism.

What has happened in recent years, because of the success of gay rights and feminism — especially in academia — is that a lot of weirdos and perverts who aren’t homosexual have decided that they, too, are “marginalized” in some way, and therefore deserving of inclusion in the rainbow-flag-waving coalition of people who have sexual “rights.”

See, if you’re a woman, you’ve got sexual “rights.” If you’re gay, you’ve got sexual “rights.” If you’re a heterosexual male? The only rights you’ve got are summarized by the Miranda warning: “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you . . .”

The way it’s going it’s not going to be voluntary for much longer.

Time for some lighter fare. Women’s hockey team announces injury with naked picture.

This will of course be the most clinked link on this edition.

Some choice quotes from Jair Bolsonaro, Brazil’s new Trump.

“I’d never rape you because you don’t deserve it.”

Give this man a cigar. He knows the truth; all the women screaming hysterically about imaginary rape are merely upset because their chances of being sexually interfered with in any way are about as likely as Russia admitting what they did with Hitler.

Some more doozies:

I will not fight against it nor discriminate, but if I see two men kissing on the street, I’ll beat them up.

I would be incapable of loving a gay son. I wouldn’t be a hypocrite. I prefer that he die in an accident than show up with a mustachioed man.

I never hit my ex-wife. But many times I wanted to shoot her.

Pinochet should have killed more people.

Wow, just wow.

  1. ” Women’s hockey team announces injury with naked picture.” Brilliant marketing. If only you had thought of having classy pictures of beautiful young women scantily clothed on your blog you might really have made something of it. 🙂

“Witches plan to place a public hex on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh” Charge them with assault and intent to commit bodily harm. Seriously. Why not? They have two choices. Argue that it’s not real or plead guilty.

Perhaps you could explain why people who believe in limited government and personal responsibility are stupid instead of just calling them such. Perhaps you could do it without referring to the freak-show that is the current American libertarian party (unless you believe that the freak-show is an inevitable consequence of libertarianism) and instead focus on the ideas of Mills and Smith.

    1. Libertarians want all the benefits of a civilized and sophisticated culture and society without any of the personal responsibility. The fact is that people can only enjoy the supreme indulgence of being a libertarian precisely in the very system to which they object. It is infantile.

      1. I can’t disagree with you based on the makeup of the Libertarian party, but I will disagree with you philosophically. I consider myself a small l libertarian and I understand that libertarian ideals

        a) can only exist inside a closed border system where the people who join agree with the principles

        b) requires the complete elimination of taxpayer funded social safety nets and

        c) will therefore never happen

Libertarianism is most definitely a philosophy of personal responsibility and individual cooperation at it’s core, however it has been perverted. I also happen to think that a truly libertarian society is as likely to work as any other utopian ideal (which means never for those of you who are about to jump on this statement) but it doesn’t mean we can’t try to move towards more personal responsibility instead of relying on the government. The government is not needed in the vast majority of interactions over which it rules. The people who run that government have, however, taken on power to themselves in order to increase their own importance. It is the nature of power that causes this and the only solution is a less powerful government. Unfortunately it is a bit circular in cause and effect and I’m not sure that we will ever be able to go back to a more limited government, especially in a large and powerful country where people are brought up to believe in the absolute power of the state.

  2. TechieDude

Of course the democrats are in league with satan. The see three of the most deadly sins – Pride, Envy, & Anger as merely useful tools. I once taught a class on these to teens, and told them to observe what these people were doing, and the poisonous reactions that resulted.

The left’s gullibility and hysterics know no bounds, and they are completely incapable of abstract thought. They fathers (mostly), brothers, husbands, and boyfriends. Do they really want the false accusations of a demented cunt to ruin their families lives?

Not a huge David French fan, but he had a funny article that when polled, the Brothers in an audience leaned to support Kavanaugh. The logic being that if a powerful white man had this happen to them, they don’t stand a chance. It was funny that the brothers get dinged for “date rape” in college at a higher rate. Probably because Ashley or Brittany sobers up and realizes they screwed a black dude. https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/10/brett-kavanaugh-confirmation-fight-race/

And their hypocrisy knows no bounds. I won’t get into the Clinton thing, but down here in TX they are cooing over “Beto”. Funny how they can screech about white male privilege, and go gaga over the prospect of electing the very epitome of white male privilege. They also have a penchant for kidding themselves. The day after election day here will be renamed “The day of the long faces”, especially here in TX where they have a history of practically coronating a candidate only to have them utterly clobbered on election day.

I’ll wait for the video release of Gosnell. I’m not a theater person. That said, I read the book. The man was a butcher. The real story was the utter lack of accountability with the government entities that was supposed to be regulating these clinics. This prompted a bill here that had three provisions – No abortion after 20 weeks (isn’t 1/2 way enough? It’s like 10-12 in most countries), Clinics have to meet standard outpatient surgery center standards (I thought they did. I think a nail salon has more regs to follow), and the Doctor needs admitting privileges in a hospital (Thought they did. Why wouldn’t you want this?). It had something like 75-80% approval of the public.

And, the left went nuts. Too big a burden, women won’t get “healthcare”. As if what the dude was doing was healthy.

“neither the government, nor anybody else…” That’s right, a society has no business determining what the norms of society are, especially when it comes to it’s institutions. Wait a minute…

  4. Your commenter seems to think that “marriage” has no legal component, and that it costs nothing to implement and enforce the societal recognition and privileges which is confers.

He’s an idiot. Marriage isn’t about the feels of the parties involved, it’s a social mechanism for ensuring paternity. Absent marriage a man has no reason to believe that the children of his various fuck-buddies are actually *his*, and a man with no acknowledged children is a man with no stake in the future of his community or nation beyond his own lifetime. As it’s men who build and maintain civilizations, ensuring that they have a reason to do all the dirty, boring, dangerous work which that requires is a good thing. Contrariwise, there’s no social justification for recognizing or rewarding sexual but non-procreative relationships. Let the gays live together and do whatever they want with or to one another, but don’t pretend that their fee-fees merit the resources which civilization spends on supporting marriage.
