As I write this week’s edition of the hawt chicks & links thread I am listening to the wonderful melodic harmonies of The Alan Parson’s Project’s first album, Tales of mystery and Imagination, and on my vintage Bang & Olufsen turntable at that. The album is based on the short stories of Edgar Allen Poe, a man who knew a thing or two about horror and the macabre. And it is somewhat fitting as we appear to be living through such an age now, where the diseased, the demented, and the deranged openly inhabit our most cherished institutions. Ungodliness is celebrated, while faith and piety are persecuted under the chants of eradicating hate, the byword for all that is actually good and worthy of being cherished in the world.
But we live at a time where everything is set purposely backward, so as to better confuse and confound those who are susceptible to falling from grace. So let us peel back a very few pages of the torments that surround us, and peer beneath the horrible film of decadence that threatens to overwhelm us. But have faith and take heart; there are some who still stand resolutely in the face of evil. Which is the very best that each of us can aspire to.
Above all, we priests must be men of truth.
In the modern world, truth is the enemy of the people. The modern world deals in lies. Here at my humble little blog, the only thing that matters is the pursuit of truth.
For far too long, for well over 60 years if not more, the Church appears to have been taken over by a Marxist agenda, which has zapped it of the supernatural and reduced it to something akin to the United Nations which is well known for its corruption. The Bride of Christ has been turned into something between a Soviet Commissar and the harlot mentioned by Ezekiel and Jeremiah.
He is generous to use the verb appear. Read the whole thing and be uplifted.
From the same people who brought you “I fucking love science”:
Witches plan to place a public hex on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh through an occult ritual on Oct. 20 in New York City, an event sponsored by Catland Books, which describes itself as “Brooklyn’s premiere occult bookshop & spiritual community space.” The planned ritual has been advertised on Facebook.
“Please join us for a public hex on Brett Kavanaugh, upon all rapists and the patriarchy at large which emboldens, rewards and protects them,” reads the description for the event, “Ritual to Hex Brett Kavanaugh.”
I say bring back the burnings.
First, take a candle.
Then, pour some salt into your hand.
Then, keeping the grains in your palm, take a pen to write out a thank you to Christine Blasey Ford, the woman whose allegations of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee — and now justice — Brett Kavanaugh, stunned a nation.
Or, if you prefer, simply say, “I believe you.”
It’s just one of the many quasi-religious rituals circulating the internet — particularly pagan and #resistance circles — in the wake of Kavanaugh’s confirmation. These rituals help self-identified witches process trauma, anger, and grief.
These people are serious. It’s not that far a step from here to performing child sacrifice. Oh wait, they already do that. It’s called abortion. And abortion is the true modern salutation to the devil. (Don’t forget that the Gosnell movie finally opened this week.) It’s so important that women must be physically assaulted by “male feminists” in order to protect them. We hurt you to help you, said every socialist that ever putrefied the face of the earth.
That previous video is an example of the old slippery slope, folks. The left derided the slippery slope warning as a falsehood. Which instantly tells you that it is anything but. Here’s another example of the slippery slope in action:
More and more “doctors” are openly advocating harvesting organs from still living donors as a form of euthanasia. This penchant for a medical version of Aztec cosplay is seen both in Europe and in North America. Yet another call for death by donation has crept up, this time in the New England Journal of Medicine.
“Canadians Ian Ball and Robert Sibbald from Western University, along with Robert Truog from Harvard, recently published an article in the New England Journal of Medicine calling for organ donation from euthanasia victims.
“They went so far as suggesting pulling the organs from the still-alive ‘donor’ such that removing the organs would cause the donor’s euthanasia itself. The fresher the better. The transplant surgeons thus become both the one who sustaines life for one, and the dealer of death for the other. All it takes, according to the authors, is a few simple tweaks to legislation…”
All your organs belong to us. The Aztecs would have been proud. No slippery slope to see here, folks. Move along, move along.
Father Paul Kalchik is no longer the acting pastor of Resurrection Parish following the controversial decision to burn a rainbow flag last week. According to witnesses at the parish, Cardinal Cupich sent two priests, Fr. Dennis Lyle and Fr. Jeremy Thomas, from the Vicar for Priests Office to the church right before 6 p.m. mass on Saturday asking to meet with Fr. Kalchik in private. Fr. Kalchik refused and asked for witnesses to the exchange. What was reported to have happened after that is chilling.
According to sources at the parish as reported by Church Militant, “Lyle and Thomas made clear they were there on order of Cdl. Cupich, who insisted that Kalchik be sent to St. Luke Institute for his ‘psychiatric issues.’ Both vicars for priests had also only days before threatened that Kalchik could have his faculties removed if he failed to comply with Cupich’s orders.” Those threats led to the revoking of a transfer that would have allowed Fr. Kalchik to be close to his aging parents.
Two witnesses, Miriam and Wayne Smith, said that when Fr. Kalchik refused to go with them, the priests became threatening and at one point the cardinal’s men referenced Fr. Kalchik dying. “Fr. Kalchik told those two enforcers that he had Mass to celebrate in the morning and that he was needed in the parish,” the Smiths said. “The response from the two was to ask him, ‘What would happen if you were dead?’
The Church will protect pedophile priests and homosexuals for decades, but burn a flag of the fags and the gay mafia will be at your door more swiftly than a rush on discount lube sales.
(Incidentally, I had a little argument with a supposed conservative in the comments section of that piece who is “vocally for marriage equality.” I said that he was part of the problem and his response was this:
INTERLUDE: Well, the Alan Parson’s album is finished, (which gives you an idea how long it takes to compose the Friday hawt chicks & links), so now it’s time for some Sade.
What has happened in recent years, because of the success of gay rights and feminism — especially in academia — is that a lot of weirdos and perverts who aren’t homosexual have decided that they, too, are “marginalized” in some way, and therefore deserving of inclusion in the rainbow-flag-waving coalition of people who have sexual “rights.”
See, if you’re a woman, you’ve got sexual “rights.” If you’re gay, you’ve got sexual “rights.” If you’re a heterosexual male? The only rights you’ve got are summarized by the Miranda warning: “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you . . .”
The way it’s going it’s not going to be voluntary for much longer.
Time for some lighter fare. Women’s hockey team announces injury with naked picture.
This will of course be the most clinked link on this edition.
Some choice quotes from Jair Bolsonaro, Brazil’s new Trump.
“I’d never rape you because you don’t deserve it.”
Give this man a cigar. He knows the truth; all the women screaming hysterically about imaginary rape are merely upset because their chances of being sexually interfered with in any way are about as likely as Russia admitting what they did with Hitler.
Some more doozies:
I will not fight against it nor discriminate, but if I see two men kissing on the street, I’ll beat them up.
I would be incapable of loving a gay son. I wouldn’t be a hypocrite. I prefer that he die in an accident than show up with a mustachioed man.
I never hit my ex-wife. But many times I wanted to shoot her.
Pinochet should have killed more people.
Wow, just wow.
