Welcome to the Friday hawt chicks & links, a result of tireless work to scour the internet for links worthy of your time and energy. We take our job seriously here at the hawt chicks & links because we crave your approval in an abject manner. We hope that this is okay with you and ….
Hold it a minute! You can’t say, “okay”! The okay sign is now a racist symbol of white supremacy! Don’t you idiots know anything?? Why, flashing the okay sign will get you barred from your favorite sports stadium for life.

They blurred the image. Get your heads around that and consider just how much of a laughing stock the MSM has become. Of course, Ace summed up the entire issue beautifully:

If I were a white supremacist I would be seriously concerned at the idea that this idiot was on our side. Just sayin’.
Enjoy the links, kiddies. And the hawts.

So there has been another high school shooting in the USA. The perpetrators must have been white power dudes flashing circle signs, ammiright?

Just wondering; if we refer to this piece of shit by name, does that mean that we would get permabanned for the progressive sin of dead-naming? Just wondering for a friend …

Amanda Knox to return to Italy for first time since acquittal.

Amanda Knox is returning to Italy for the first time since she was convicted and imprisoned, but ultimately acquitted, in the murder and sexual assault of her British roommate in the hilltop university town of Perugia.
The American was invited to attend a conference June 14-15 organized in Modena by the Criminal Chamber of the northern city and the Italy Innocence Project, which seeks to help people who have been convicted of crimes they did not commit.
Knox, 31, will be speaking on the role of the media in judicial errors on the last day of the conference.

If I were the Italian authorities I would have her arrested at the airport on arrival and locked up for three days with no communications whatsoever and then released without explanation, entirely for the shits and giggles.
It’s probably better that I’m not in charge.
Or is it?

Women are anathema to revolutionary movements.

Underneath all the rationalizations, men fight for beautiful, young women. Men don’t fight for land, or honors, or money, except insofar as those things earn them access to beautiful, young women.
Consciously, men will tell themselves otherwise and pen odes to loftier ideals, but the Darwinian primal impulse is the lure of fertile furrow.
As such, women should inspire, not aspire. Women, particularly young cuties in the bloom of their slender hourglass perfection, are inspirations to men to reach for the brass ring. An insurgency seeking to topple a corrupt establishment is best led by men, compelled by an unspoken and often unacknowledged desire to attract young cuties, intuitively grasping that a victory over the corrupt ruling class means more prime poon for those rebel men.
Women who aspire to leading roles in those insurgencies are suspect operatives, for they are purposefully abdicating their natural place in the cosmic order as inspirations to stronger, integrous men.

A pox on happiness.

The Ancient Greeks named four virtues: temperance, wisdom, courage and justice. Aristotle added more, but cheerfulness wasn’t one of them. The Greek philosophers didn’t seem to care about how we felt compared with how we acted. Aristotle said that we would ideally feel good while acting good, but he didn’t consider pleasure necessary for beautiful action. Acting virtuously meant steering clear of excess and deficiency. But in order to reach his ‘mean’, we need to jettison every action that misses the mark. Most of the time, the mean is incredibly tough to find, but if it came down to a choice between feeling good while acting badly or feeling badly while acting good, Aristotle said to choose good behaviour. He understood that feelings are hard to control, sometimes impossible, but he also knew that positive feelings like to hang around virtuous actions. While we’re waiting for the good feelings to show up, he asked us to get to work on temperance, wisdom, courage and justice. But he never said anything about smiling through it.

A society intent on happiness is a society intent on feelings. In other words, a female society, better known as a matriarchy.

Christianity does not need to endorse homosexuality to grow.

The authors of this study were paternalistically perplexed about why same-sex-attracted people would choose churches that they assumptively described as having a “hostile social environment to LGB individuals,” as if such people don’t know what’s good for them. Well, maybe same-sex-attracted individuals find such churches are indeed not hostile or hateful.
Ironically, those rainbow flags you see flying outside some churches proudly announcing “We welcome all!” are not appealing to the very people they are intended to attract. It’s the churches that so many on the left mistakenly and irresponsibly accuse of “hating the gays” that are actually where many gay people find what they’re really looking for.
People seeking Christ are not looking for a scripture-denying church. They want the real thing, not in spite of it making real demands upon them and teaching the scriptures as they are, but very likely because of it.

At heart gays know that they are fallen and are looking for salvation and redemption, not justification.

There is a big new film about the life of Tolkien coming out. We had better go see it, right?
Not so fast, my friends. It’s made by Disney.

Worst, however, is the film’s neglect for Tolkien’s faith, which inspired his entire life. The movie also cuts out the literary works that inspired his imagination — touchstones of the Western literary tradition. In fact, the author’s literary masterpiece The Lord of the Rings is heavily influenced not just by the Western literary tradition but by Christianity and Jesus in particular.

I’m surprised they didn’t try to make him a homo. The Tolkien Estate has condemned the film. Good on them.
